A comprehensive plan, policies and procedures is the answer, starting with your hiring policies. Our security consulting services provide special attention to risk management. Our security assessments include pre-employment policy and procedures; physical plant, lighting and parameter control review; corporate document control policies and procedures; IT and telecommunications infrastructure assessments; alarm systems, internal and external access control, including policy and procedures; and closed circuit television (CCTV) systems. Training is also addressed to make sure your staff is properly trained and tested to insure compliance with state and federal rules, regulations and statutes. In short, security is much more than a guard and a fence.

Emergency Management: Prevention, planning and preparation are the key components of emergency management. Compliance to local, state and federal regulations, as well as the standards and practices of your area is critical. Our goal is to help you and your company develop a plan consistent with the Department of Homeland Security, National Response Framework. We also incorporate the National Incident Management Systems (NIMS), The California Standardized Emergency Management System (SEMS) and the Incident Command System (ICS), into the planning and documentation process. Training and testing are also critical components of your plan. We will help you develop a progressive training program that includes testing and documentation policies and procedures. For us, emergency management is much more than a notebook on a shelf. Education is a vital component of the prevention, planning and preparation process. How to best accomplish this can be indeed challenging. We utilize various methodologies including public speaking events, written publications and broadcasting including producing “Mike in the Morning” on KZSB, AM-1290 and FM-96.9 in Santa Barbara, California. Aside from traffic, weather and news, the program features guests to discuss various topics of interest.
